Harbor Place is a dynamic mixed-use development that is transforming the face of Erie's Bayfront. The long-term vision for the development includes corporate offices, restaurants, hotels, retail shops, parking garages, an outdoor ice skating rink, condominiums, apartments, and a skywalk connecting the complex to UPMC Hamot, providing convenient covered access for patients, visitors, and staff.

 

Phase One of the Harbor Place Development has been successfully completed. In August 2020, Scott Enterprises opened the Hampton Inn & Suites – Erie Bayfront, a 95-room waterfront hotel featuring 35 spacious studio-style suites, meeting space, an indoor pool and fitness center, complimentary breakfast, and premium guest amenities.

 

Perched atop the Hampton Inn & Suites is Oliver's Rooftop, which opened in December 2020. The award-winning restaurant and bar offers panoramic views of Presque Isle Bay, elevated cuisine, handcrafted cocktails, and a curated collection of artwork celebrating Erie's rich maritime heritage. In August 2021, Oliver's Beer Garden opened adjacent to the hotel, providing a casual outdoor dining experience featuring food from Oliver's Food Truck, live entertainment, and waterfront seating throughout the summer.

 

With the successful completion of Phase One, Scott Enterprises is preparing to begin Phase Two of the Harbor Place Development with the AC Hotel by Marriott Erie Bayfront. This exciting addition will further enhance Erie's waterfront. Complete with a rooftop restaurant and bar offering breathtaking views of Presque Isle Bay. The AC Hotel represents the next major step in Harbor Place's vision of creating a vibrant destination where visitors and residents can stay, dine, work, and enjoy Erie's beauty.
